DESCRIPTION: Discover the rich history and lasting legacy of Hispanics in Waco on this free guided tour. Waco Walks is excited to join The Baylor Institute for Oral History and the Texas Collection to explore stories that have shaped our community and celebrate the contributions of Hispanic families and leaders throughout the city’s past. October 3rd, 9:30 AM.  Meet up at St Francis on the Brazos Catholic Church, 315 Jefferson Ave, Waco.

TIME: 9:30 AM

MEET UP LOCATION: St Francis on the Brazos Catholic Church, 315 Jefferson Ave, Waco

WALK LENGTH: about 2 miles

ACCESSIBILITY: Most of the walk will be on city streets and sidewalks, but there may be some curbs, steps, grass and gravel to negotiate.

HYDRATION: Please bring your own water.

DOGS: Dogs welcome, but they MUST be on a leash, and you MUST scoop the poop!  Most of the walk will be outside, but be aware that if we go inside a building doggies will not be allowed.
