Mayborn Museum Sponsors the 2026 Central Texas Science & Engineering Fair

The Mayborn Museum is proud to sponsor the 2026 Central Texas Science & Engineering Fair (CTSEF) as it celebrates its 70th anniversary of supporting student innovation and scientific inquiry.

Taking place February 10–11, 2026, the CTSEF brings together outstanding student researchers from across a 13-county region. Winners from local fairs advance to this regional competition, with top projects earning eligibility to continue on to the Texas Science & Engineering Fair (TXSEF) and potentially the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF).

• Fair Open to the Public: February 11, 8:30–11:30 a.m.
  Howard Ballroom

• Awards Ceremony: February 11, 9:00–11:00 a.m.
  Auditorium

• Location: All fair activities will take place at the Lee Lockwood Library and Museum

We encourage our community to visit during public hours to experience the creativity, dedication, and problem-solving skills of Central Texas students firsthand.
