River Cleanup for Ironman Waco!

About the event

Join us for our summer shoreline cleanup to prepare for Ironman Waco! All volunteers will be walking the shoreline along the Brazos River. This event is open to any age range, any volunteer under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.\

What will volunteers do?

Volunteers will cleanup along the shoreline only. This cleanup will be in prepration for the Ironman Waco event, preparing the river for athletes. Volunteers must have mobility to bend over, pickup items, hold a picker and trash bag, be able to walk and have the ability to stabalize themselves along the river shoreline.

What will volunteers need to bring or wear?

ALL volunteers are responsible for bringing their own water bottle, sunscreen, and bug repellant. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.
